Hand Made Ceramic Basins

David Rogers

David Rogers is originally from Lymington in the New Forest. He graduated in Ceramics from Farnham College of Art and Design in 1997 when he set up his own pottery business.

Having run his own pottery for several years he started to make one off hand thrown ceramic hand basins after he was inspired by a trip to Mexico where hand thrown sinks are quite common.

On taking the Mexican inspired sinks to various shows he found that they sparked a huge amount of interest, and started taking commissions.

Dave has found that in todays market people want unique custom hand made products and that if they buy one of our hand basins they enjoy knowing exactly where it came from, who made it and how.

The Handmade Basin Company is run by Dave and his wife Lucy Rogers. We believe in producing high quality ceramic sinks at affordable prices and think that our friendly and approachable attitude means that you can tell us what you want and we will make certain that you get the right basin.

We hope you will email or call us to discuss the options in more detail.
